NEW GENERATION DAMARAS

The last two seasons the stud mainly used own bred rams. The following results are proof of the fact that we are reaching our goal of breeding Damaras under natural conditions which will adapt and perform well in other areas :

• The first ever Merit Damara Ram Award at the Griekwastad Veldram Project, was achieved by a Geelbeksdam Damara ram after the 2000 test. This achievement was repeated by another Geelbeksdam ram after the 2001 test.
